Pretty much stopped in Reigate now, odd bit of sleetiness around, lots of dripping. Temperature has now hit +2.0c

I suspect that's it for snow here for a while but good luck elsewhere

3cms in places here. Snow has definitely turned more sleety in the last 15 minutes and dew point sitting at 0.0C.

Can't see any way back now, the mild sector looks too big. All eyes to Friday/Saturday which is looking interesting.

Bexleyheath - bigger flakes, now settling on roofs / cars.

Same here in Dartford but doesn't seem to be able to settle quick enough

Bromley is fairly moderate at the mo according to my wife. Im in the City and its been moderate, heavy, light, moderate... and now light. Steve - I take it Bexley is being hammered now, is that correct?

Steve,

Here in Anerley, SE20, we had sleety rain for a while during the lighter ppn but back to sleet/snow in this heavier stuff.

Regards,

Tom.

Still snowing in Canary Wharf but not as heavy as before! However, looking at the metoffice's hourly forecasts that change continuously the last hours I believe there is a lot of uncertainty on what is going to happen in the late afternoon/evening..it can be anything for the Greater London

Confused search.gif (not hard)...all this talk of a wrap round. Is this the tail end of what we're (supposed to be) having today, which will come back this evening? And will it catch the North Kent coast (near Sheppey)??

Light snow is now falling in Leigh On Sea!

And in South Ockendon. Very fine to start with, getting heavier as I type.

constant here for 3 hours but melts on contact with anything so nothing settled at all, might as well just be rain, same outcome!

really chucking it down here now 50p flakes-- just entered the 'green' zone on the radar-

wonder if we can get settling-

I thing inner london / south london are slightly to warm because of the milder sector & the UHI effect- that UHI is probably worth +1/2 degrees in the daytime.

Snow starting to settle now as it cant melt fast enough- I bet at the top end by bean its covering already-
