Now come on! It will be great fun! The Wessex way will be an ice rink, the roads will be clear as all the oldies will never leave the house!

we can only live in hope!

Last time it snowed in 2010 I wanted to play in it so bad, this time round I have my 18 mouth old daughter

As an excuse to get out and play if all goes to plan.

Erm, just checked the forecast for here and it's supposed to be dry but cold tonight, then went to the radar to see what temps/dew points etc were looking like and there's an enormous blob of rain heading across the Irish sea, through Wales and heading towards us. Any clues anyone????

Hi guys first time poster got to admit don't understand the model charts at all Iam just a enthusiastic follower of the weather just wondered anyone had seen the uk met chart for t144 and could tell me if this would mean a chance of some of the white stuff for us poor cornish folk :) great forum by the way you ail seem really friendly :)

You could earn a few bob getting people out of the snow cos there won't be any windows to clean! I'm a delivery driver and have had to be rescued many a time in the snow so may be a good business venture! Fingers crossed for snow for you anyway.

Good gem tonight, stalls the system over us and then brief incursions that don't get any further than the sw after that, just to annoy the other regionals....
