How's our 'gentlemens' bet on the low temps looking? The temp seems to have stalled up at Henwick..

Same here, only -1.7c so not getting much of a shift on just yet. Others, not far from us have suggested the same, it is plateauing right now.

GFS accumulation charts seem more bullish than NAE, and GFS seems to still favour a less westward shift.

I'll take the 'blend' of the two!

the next frame in the NAE is excellent for south coast portsmouth and hampshire - dew points and uppers will be easily low enough for snow even right on the coast

Also notice how front is starting to pivot and slide SE. That would suggest to me that T48 would be the northern extent of rainfall, and that the cold air would start to undercut west again.

Just worried the heavy stuff will stay west. Although we are probably best placed area in country for corrections south, east or west.
