Also, is it not possible that with a strong SE wind the band of snow could be enhanced and/or prolonged by convection from the Thames....AkA 'The Thames Streamer!

Is it me or does this snow not move for 6 hrs??? just seems to stay over us.

It just sits there and drops tonnes of the stuff over our region doesn't it? Now we've got to start the worrying :unsure;

T+72 is interesting, as it starts to calm down there is a massive lump flying in from the Atlantic again, looks to be stronger in the north than on earlier runs.

Not with a SE wind.

An ENE or as Mr Murr would probably advise an EENE wind, is needed for a proper "Thames Streamer"

Just watched the BBC24 weather (at 4pm), and it has the snow hitting Medway as early as 10am tomorrow!!!! But very little for Saturday Anythign would be nice as we've seen literally a dusting this week.
