T+72 is interesting, as it starts to calm down there is a massive lump flying in from the Atlantic again, looks to be stronger in the north than on earlier runs.

The first band can be seen across the bottom of the Irish Coast / Off the Southern England Coast it is absolutely YUMMY ! Even at this stage my heart tell me much higher accumulations than the models (my head says stick to model accumulation totals for now) But I think Big Steve M may be agreeing with me

Temperatures are a concern down here on the coast - 4..7c at Worthing and 3.7c in Brighton.

We've now got some pretty dense cloud cover as well.

Guys the intensity of the PPN tomorrow isn't going to be the thing greatest thing ever, but its the fact its gunna last a while and every last snowflake will settle. Also, the snow will be quite dry so where as 8mm=8cm in most cases in the UK, tomorrow should be more lik 8mm=12cm.

Another thing no one on here has taken in to account is drifting snow ,because 8-12cm of snow blown across a field can make many, many feet of snow ,closing roads ,country lanes etc

Accumulation totals for +48 have gone well up.

Yep. Average about 8mm. So with a bit of luck 10-12cm of the white stuff.
