I reckon Gatwick will keep pace at first, I think it's the infrastructure feeding into the airports that could let things down!

My flight is at 0730, so I'll be OK. Good luck to the rest of you..... tease.gif

As someone has said, these so called Hi res models are actually just zoomed versions of the main model, in the case of NAE it is the UKMO data. Also light blue in these cases tend to be very light recip so the model struggles to differentiate between snow and rain, had the same in 2010 during that cold spell.

Southerly winds off the east coast of kent are stopping the showers from coming into east kent, easterly winds towards east anglia are helping that blog to encroach from the east. Lucky **** lol :)

There is always a chance of light snow today for south east england but extremely low risk

What are everyone's thoughts on the apparent rain in the central southern area on the latest NAE 42-48, is the warm air likely to push that far north east?

NB. I think warrenb has answered my query smile.png phantom rain

The company i work for has just sent out a text,

A red warning of snow in London and the SE from 3am to 9pm for tomorrow.

From 3am in London?? That is a major shift Eastwards!

The NAE has no snow forecast overnight tonight for snow in London does it?

Not got a clue where they get there info from, it's a nationwide company so i would presume it would be from the MO
