Is it a guaranteed yet or do the next runs define it?

When are they due?

Nothing is ever guaranteed when you're talking whether - but it's about as close as it can be.

Heavy snow here covering quickly, we're at the point where the two band are meeting so maybe we're in for a right old dumping?? Has ANYONE actually forecast this band? Gonna leave alot of red faces, (if only from the cold biggrin.png )

Yes CH definitely heavier now and settling well.

Recent NW radar images shows the area of pink expanding and some darker patches over our area too.

Out of nowhere-as they say.

SLAP BANG! Over Leicester wub.png

Can't believe i'm actually seeing this, a band of snow that's actually intensified over Leicester that isn't rain or a thunderstorm. This is unbelievable. Absolutely no models or forecasters predicted this for tonight, it's not just hit and miss either, it's a mass band that covers the whole of the Midlands and it's not light here, it's big flakes.

The two heavy sections of the bands are about to merge over you too, wonder what that will bring???

Currently 0.2oC in West Malvern, we've had some light snow which is starting to stick. At the moment it's eased off, think we're at the tail end of the current band of light precipitation. Roll on tomorrow!
