Still no snow in Grantham looks like its going more west

Im in orston and nothing as yet although I hear we are in prime location for the heavy belt out to the east coast from 4 onwards

Looking on rain today radar the precip seems to head north just past stamford and is then heading back south again!

Yeah it's definitely picked up now, 5p size flakes here now and they are coming down at a fast rate. Looks like some moderate echos are over us on the radar.

Yeah nothing her in centre of nottingham. Sliding about ten miles south or so. Sur there will be a move northwards at some point in next couple of hours.

Flakes are still small but the intensity seems to have increased now.

Wer R U? Most cars here are covered like the 2nd one along from todays snow. Just over 3cms so far.

The BBC symbol for Hinckley has changed from light to heavy snow between 5pm and 6pm now.

7 miles south of Leicester city center.

Thats my car, it's not covered because I wiped all the snow off my car when I went to get fuel at mid day, and it's not accumalated on the car since then because it takes hours to cool it down to below freezing again.

The 2nd car is my dads and hasn't been drove since friday morning.

It's just these flakes are so small, I'm barely going to get anything out of it.

when i read that i couldn't bellieve it.

just checked the radar out and it's seemed to have hit a wall just south of nottingham.

might be my eyes but it seems to be pivoting so ppn south east of you will be heading your way later??

i got up at 10 this morning it was snowing then and still snowing now, only little flakes though but like tesco says "every little helps"

For me here in Chesterfield, it needs to go more North-Westerly as we are missing it due to its westward track.

Looks as though my area will miss out on this event , really need it to drift north for us to get anything

This is in Leicester Forest East, does not really show how heavy the snow is, but i think we have had about a inch looking on the car as the wipers have now almost disappeared.

Here's a pic I just took, it's not easy to see the flakes but it's the best I could do with my phone camera lol.
