Albeit the precipitation won't be as heavy as it was earlier in the east but this could get really interesting with precip in the firth of Clyde/South side of Glasgow and more precipitation to the east.

I could be in luck. It looks like there is snow coming from south aswell as the east.

I'm hoping it gets to me as it spins round from the south - maybe by 1am according to Meteoradar. I'm not holding my breath as the snowshield here appears utterly impregnable.

So close to Glasgow coming from the South and East and maybe Southwest just maybe? Come on one last stretch then you can just stall over Glasgow blum.gif

I'm resigning for the night, hoping something miraclous will occur over the 10 mile radius of Aberdeen where the temp is currently 3oC....

I have a single patch of snow remaining...

Enjoy the snow everyone!

Aberdeen has a crazy snow shield in place. If you would all like to revert to meteoradar and zoom in on Aberdeen and just watch the precip bounce off the "force field"....rediculous!

Its very frustrating isn't it! Nice to hear the snow reports from elsewhere but I did have my hopes up for here. Ah well (gulp of beer), there is always tomorrow, which looks more promising to me.

Unlike you Doc - I said to the kids we are sledging tomorrow. So we will! I dont think we will have to go too far for snow!

This is when it started in Edinburgh (about 6pm I think??) I was on the Royal Mile at the time so managed to get the flag in. :)

Snow has been back on for a wee bit - falling steading nothing massive but totals are amazing from earlier so anything extra is a bonus.

What's the prognosis for tmrw?

Holy moly! Not seen a blizzard like this since November 2010!

Are you on the south or north side of the hills?
