Aye, Boness, Grangemouth, but nothing here. help.gif

You are only 15 miles from me so it's on it's way!

Finally starting to cover the decking in Bo'ness now. My front path would have looked braw but my neighbours have gone to town with the grit! Bit more should sort that out and I will shovel their path gladly in the morning.

Kids are staying at grandparents in Edinburgh - they are hyper.

Tonight should be the start of a very eventful period that should last to Monday. More convective snow showers through the weekend and Monday is looking very interesting.

Some areas in the east could have pretty impressive snow depths. Hopefully satellite imagery will reveal sites such as these.

Gavin said it would be impossible

My worst fears re. the 2m temperature have been realised, very wet snow and melting out of trees and bushes - why? Temp +0.9C/+0.1C! cray.gif

Yes, according to meteoradar, snow arriving in Ayrshire after 11pm. Fingers crossed. Zilch here since Sunday which melted very quickly.

That streamer is almost out into the Atlantic! Newcastle to the Atlantic. That would never happen from the north, in reverse obviously  Amazing night tonight, sorry for the folk who have missed out but that has been something really special to watch.

Aberdeen has a crazy snow shield in place. If you would all like to revert to meteoradar and zoom in on Aberdeen and just watch the precip bounce off the "force field"....rediculous!
