Its unbelievable and wholly predicable, streams of snow showers to the north and south of Aberdeen. About 20 mils in either direction...Like a channel of nothingness heading towards Aberdeen.

Typical...

Bands of snow showers continue....to miss this entire area. It really is getting very frustrating. So much snow about coming in from the sea and none of it here.

Ditto !

This is pretty stunning really, more incoming based on the 2100 radar after this eventually clears? More bands incoming further north too! Could be feet by Sunday, feet

Streamer is currently a bit west of here, so dry atm. Still happy with the 3cm and hopefully more to come later and into tomorrow

Met office have once again failed, utterly, to predict this. No orange warning for the areas that needed it most even though NMM and yr.no hinted at this squall line. Why the hell did they fail to issue warnings for the right areas just a few hours before it kicked off? They have improved in recent years but this was quite a poor show IMO

Like Norrance, not enjoying the way it has turned damp here in the last few hours. Is there any chance of some lower uppers/DPs moving in later?
