M2 has become 2 lanes in parts really heavy!

EH? I just checked all the M2 cams, all lanes are open

No traffic problems either

Will this snow heading up get to SE London? Most of the snow earlier from the west degraded a lot about 5-10 miles west of here, and I hope snow heading to kent doesn't skim by 10 miles to the east.

unfortunately i think it probably will looking at the radar, but i don't care. we've still got the rest of the weekend, especially sunday :)

Now it would be lovely for the wind to shift to a straight easterly, the estuary fill up and then just pummel us all night, in my ideal world it would move up the estuary towards London and multiply and spread out creating every type of slapper, streamer, screamer, tickler, clipper, clappers you name it!

Well. You say that...

The wind has just shifted to a solid ESE almost EESE @ 10mph now....

Coming down a bit heavier now with bigger flakes.......would still take a month of Sundays to get a decent covering though!

Further developments across North Kent, Essex, North & East Herts and Suffolk as the night goes on.

Could you expand on that please?

I still think that the ppn over NE France will pep-up and deliver some decent snow to those in the East of our region (notably East Kent at the moment), with a definite inclination to pivot towards the NNW as it reaches the Kent coast and maybe affecting more of our region... The next few runs should help rectify this... Kepp watching the radar folks!
