Looks like I won't be recording another frost tonight, temp 1.2c. It wouldn't be so bad but I've only recorded six frosts all winter, I recorded seven in Autumn.rofl.gif

Light without an accumulation is just annoying, rather it be clear and very cold. :)

Yesterdays cm of snow quickly dissapeared this morning leaving à very grey scène, ground above 200m is still white, had we managéd to accumulate à couple of inches we would have easily maintained à couver in recent days, alas snowfall frm this cold spell in much of cumbria has been woeful, in terms of totals, only north lancs and cornwall has seen less, strangely sw, W and nw scotland has been largely snow free, give me a potent nnw anyday.

Temp climbed to 1.5C that's a rise of 2 degrees in 1hr 15 mins

And i thought my sensor had broken , it was -1.4c at 4.30pm , and had risen to 0.5c at 7.30 pm , so brought it in and tried to see what was wrong, but perhaps i was too hasty, now 1.7c..that is weird

It's already north of the amber snow warning area issued earlier today. Do you think it'll reach us - our forecast is light snow showers at 6pm and then nothing until some brief snow on Friday evening. Currently cloudy and hovering around zero here, and the snowman has started leaning towards the direction the sun shone on him today!!!

You have to be wary, some members down south are saying that they are under radar returns but nothing is falling.

Temp still on the rise, up to +1.9C

The snowman which has stood strong in the back garden since Saturday has finally fallen, may he rest in peace.

Looking at the radars the snow should reach the south of the north west then it's uncertain if it will make manchester and further north

Don't think it will make it much further north than Cheshire, but I hope I'm wrong! Or is that being greedy? :p
