Surely, not if you've got a BR postcode. Anyway is this the 5 minute argument or the full half hour. Sorry showing my age there!

Cheers,

Tom

If you live in Bromley borough you are in London and have been since the 1960s regardless of what the Post Office say! Anyway, back to this mega looking system!!!

Yep same for my location, Ilford. Postcode is IG1 but it's in the London borough of Redbridge and within Greater London, yet many people still think it's in Essex.

It's the same for places like Bromley and Bexleyheath. They're in Greater London but still have the old Kent postcode.

Bang right!

Well I was not expecting this. An hour ago it was mostly rain and since then it's gone from the odd flake of wet snow to sleet and now it's snowing. Big flakes at times too!good.gif

I posted in the model thread yesterday about little differences early on in the model runs having huge implications to the rest of the run and this proves the point. This snowfall is 50-100 miles further east than expected. Now for example if you had the same model but one run starting with the front over Dorset and one with the front over London the outcome (although may start off similar) would be totally different.

And first signs of sticking - this will catch the gritters out who have been exceptional so far.

Sticking here nicely (but I am a bit higher up by Hollingbury Golf Course, (Brighton))

Btw sticking in Brighton now. Snowfall rate is high enough to accumulate far quicker than Sun. I'll have some of your billions Manumatt.

Needs to be a lot less sloppy than this lot is now: the snow is coming down dry and heavy up here on the downs now , it is really driving hard , such a shame the ground is to wet now

The radar returns to the south of London look more intense right now than they ever did on Friday and Sunday, might see some big 50p flakes, given the marginality, rather than the powdery dandruff over the last snow events.
