The GFS precipitation charts are generally useless. A few cm's for southern parts of region, MAYBE a covering at most elsewhere though I'd be surprised if I see anything.

Here comes matt always the downer

As night sets in and it gets colder then the dew points will drop? I think my prediction will be pretty close tbh

Massive snowfall for areas between J7-12 of M25 and J3-9 of the M3 10-15m either side of those boundaries IMHO

CWT, I think I'm going to employ you to follow me around and cheer me up whenever I feel a bit down!

Coming down in East Grinstead. Heavy light flakes.

Make up your mind - it's either heavy or it's light! rofl.gif

Cloudy and 1.9c here

Sorry but, there is nothing to suggest our region will see several inches of snow widely tonight. I say what I see not what I want to see. I'm happy to be wrong, given that I love snow, but I can't see it happening.

Just went to check the lamp post outside my house, and the bloody thing is broken! How am I supposed to feed my obsession now?! I really had hoped to get stuff done today, but at the slightest mention of snow within 100 miles of my door I downed tools and have been glued to this forum.

Must get out more.

You are probably too east, I would put the heavy falls at Croydon westwards going about as far west as Bracknell and about as far north as Luton

Those areas will probably see a covering. Harrow will probably get plastered again though mad.gif
