Heavy sort of sleety/snow here still. Still got cover from earlier but very mushy. Really could do with the temp to drop 0.5 degrees!

Snow here :) temp 0.5/-1.8 shame most of it will be gone by Monday :(

Some photos of recent snaw in the borders courtesy of Scottish Borders Council.

Seems url turned into some sort of slidey showey thingy.

It's starting to get quite heavy here with big fluffy flakes. Not lying on wet concrete yet!

And now its the heavy stuff, fast falling large flakes, road going white. Might have been going for a while but not looked out the window since last post.

Just seen a classic News24 forecast, camera at 30 degree angle to map with heavy snow falling from the top of the screen, amusing but not easy to tell what was going on other than snow!

Well.. this now officialy qualifies as a decent fall of snow by my standards :)

College closed at 12pm and it's been chucking it down since... really really heavy now...

Only downside is I'm booked to go to York by train tomorrow and will lose my tickets if I can't go due to the weather...

Oh well :)

Tim

Aye, yer about a mile west of me (waves). Just cold pish with the occasional something that might be wintry.

Mrs SS phoned to report heavy snow and roads turning white at fort SS!

Will head off home earlier I think. Not too early as I like snowy roads....

Exactly where I am. Looking out towards the Pentlands. I just cannot see where an amber warning is coming from for anywhere near here. Temp is too high. Would take something dramatic. Just a miserable day so far.

Just back in Stirling after an unscheduled dental trip bad.gif

Plenty snow here, and it's still going - Stirling always seems to do well from an Atlantic breakdown...radar looks like it may hold another couple of hours of ppn as well, so happy again that the empty tank of the snowshield caused catastrophic failure ...
