About to get very interesting here. Last shower that passed through was a distinct mixture of rain/sleet/hail. Radar looks magnificent for next 5-6 hours, minimum.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing intense snowfall rather than being particularly bothered about lasting accumulations. Both would be nice, of course.

Huge hail shower with snow just blew through here leaving everything white over. Didn't hear any thunder though.

You lot made me start lamppost obs again! Anyway its very windy and raining here not sleet or hail just rain. Wasn't expecting anything to be honest but good luck all lets see if the Midlands can join in the fun with the NW!
