Clouds developing pretty rapidly here with a big bruiser to my west/southwest,typical thundercloud/anvil shape and coming this way i think

May or may not produce the goods perhaps a little early for some fireworks but no doubt somebody could get something later.

Has gone very dark very quickly here. There have been three rumbles of thunder but haven't seen any lightning yet. It seems to be moving over very quickly-I'm sure theres a very big storm in there, its very black, large amounts of cloud and the thunder is the type that rumbles for a good 10 seconds or so at a time.

Any convective cloud starting to move away now, looking at the radar the showers were in the vicinity but were just to our north, at around lunchtime I was expecting at least a shwoer or 2, but it has been lovely and pleasant, my kind of weather

Nice this morning at 9, towering clouds about, then once I'm at work it rains to put it mildly. As the afternoon went on it started to brigten up and lots of towering clouds were about on my way home at 5.

On the whole a balence today between p1 $$ ing down and sunny intervals.

As for Thunder, well there's as much chance of that happening as there is Accrington Stanley winning the premiership.
