Cold, hard rain here - 3.6c/2.9c/WSW. Dews have dropped a bit tho' so maybe get some sleet mixed in soon.

Rhubarb... gawd, why does it do this every year - pokes its little pink noses up only to catch a cold. Silly stuff - but I do like it wub.png

and the same from GFS is even colder; IMBY, though, looks almost good for snow at sea level.

Aye, the 06Z was quite tasty. A little something for most there potentially.

It is warming up a bit for cold and snow in a sense :)

Still no broadband, third time lucky with the order. I am hoping the nervous twitching dies down once I get into the third week without t'internet :(

Appreciate it's still a few days away, but looking as though quite a few of us could see some snow in the early hours of next Tuesday .If I say a wee prayer, perhaps my wee one might see some snow when he goes to nursery Tuesday morning.

The mountains in the distance (no idea what they called towards kilsyth possibly the campsies) had snow briefly on them earlier but rain was so heavy it might have been just enough for a slight dump. Melted though quite quick

Quick ask of local knowledge for those on the west coast.help.gif

If this verified would the smaller ferries run on such routes to The Small Isles or would this give general disruption. I know its 10 days out so can all change.Would prefer a north easterly than this!!!

Been another wet old day but when you could see Ben Ledi it's looking nice and white up top. Day one of month four, for me, of winter hill conditions tomorrow. Welcome less windy period - time to stop paperwork and have some fun.

I don't think you would have anything to worry about if that chart verified. That's a mill pond compared to what they had a couple of nights ago. It will take a lot more force than that to cancel the ferries.post-1989-0-31697600-1359674603_thumb.gi
