The problem is no one knows. It will change again and again on every run till the event happens!

I totally agree , my point was Glenn w said in the mod thread that the 12z had moved the low north not south which is not true, it was clear to see there was a clear sw movement.

Yh i know what u mean wadey at the moment they are giving some poor dutch guy a hard time just because his spelling wasnt great, anyway regarding sunday its impossible to tell for sure at the moment things look good as in the low is tracking s outh west and the nae is excellent for the midlands.

Wake up and smell the coffee - this guy's a clever near-troll.

Dutch people that speak and/or write English do so to near perfection.

This guys posts fluctuate in accuracy from one extreme to another. A sure sign of an internet windup merchant knowing exactly what he's doing.

"A poor dutch guy" - dutch yes, poor as in sympathy -No.

I'm in se Birmingham and It looked like it was snowing, but when I went outside it was moderate sleet or very wet snow at best so very unlikely to settle. Can anyone here access charts of current conditions ie temps, dew points and upper air temps over Birmingham. BBC seems upgrade this morning with rain/snow band only pushing up to Midlands and snow on leading edge. But at 2-5cm as depths its very much a non event really. Still could still change I guess.

Looking through the window into the darkness about 2cm or so of fresh snow here. A few flakes still drifting down.

A good covering here now, though nothing major. Still snowing lightly.

Snowing lightly here also, thin covering on cars and grass. Tomorrow looks unlikely to yield much snow looking at the nae, so hard to get excited by the event.

Just remember that this time yesterday, today was going to bring no snow to anywhere in England, according not only NAE but every other model! I still couldn't say who'l see snow and how much tomorrow - though as usual the odds are in favour of mostly rain down here. Think it may be tomorrow night before we see anything turn wintry in the Vale. But, who knows ....... !

btw only rain here so far today - and even that's stopped .....
