Suprised those in Northampton and Wellingborough still reporting rain! DP has plummeted here down to 0.4C, wet snow. And i'm not in the highest part of town only 72m, southern outskirts are 104m.

Been snowing here for half an hour or so now. Not quite heavy enough to settle though

i know i sound so pessimistic but we've been let down so many times now it's hard to keep optimistic. I certainly hope it does snow for us especially as the midlands is generally a good spot for cold and snow. the roads are so soaked now with all this rain there is no chance any snow is going to make an impact.....unless it comes down in torrents for hours and hours. Fact!!

I've seen temperature forecast from as high at 7'c tomorrow to as low as 0'c? I can't get how the BBC reckons it's temps?

i think altitude again is going to be a major factor between who gets rain/sleet and who gets snow. trouble is there aren't that many places in the midlands with any substantial altitude apart from clee hills and the wrekin in shropshire. anything under 1000 ft isn't going to make a lot of difference really

My max temp tomorrow according to the MetO is 1c. think the wind direction will help a wee bit tomorrow.

well i'm off to the pub around 6pm which is always a good sign that the snow starts, so here's hoping everyone starts seeing some of the white stuff this evening. usually i panic about driving and it snowing but this time I think driving isn't going to be a problem even if it starts tipping it down with snow.
