Bit confused about so many reports of sleet. 98m ASL, 100% rain here, 2.1c now.

It's the colder uppers making their presence felt rather altitude.

a good start so far villa won and all we is the snow to arive that would put the icing on the cake. Must say it fiels cold out there, colder than this morning. How's the nae looking Guys? For our patch.

NMM has most of the precipitation dieing out after 10pm, and the intenser stuff up derby way, so i'm not sure i'm going to see anything much at all settling here.

Nope pure rain. Not even a hint of sleet.

To be honest i've noticed that it's often rain here when others report sleet, must be something about my area.

Snow is starting to settle here, but it's very borderline. Just turning the grass a little white. So I can say with some confidence that the snowline in this area would be about 1000 feet (300 metres)

Temps continue to slowly fall, now 1.9c and a dew point of 1.5c. Raining lightly with a bit of sleet thrown in as well.
