It might snow, it might rain.

It might be cold, it might not.

I think that the only thing for certain about the next 24 hours are that it will come light and then at a later stage it will go dark againt

The rest is looking like guess work.

ECM 12z precipitation looks better for the region, it shows heavier precipitation for south of region.

What is the PPN though Kev ? We just know at the moment it is too warm out there.

Depends on the dew points I supose, few weeks ago it was 3 degrees here and snowing cause of the dew points but when it hit 0 it was rain.

Well the ECM doesn't really inspire much confidence with most of the ppn falling as rain, chart on the left is the air pressure + ppn and the other one highlights where snow is most likely to fall.

Dew points are currently about 3c, snow chance of snow tonight unless we experience a miracle.

DP are not set to go negative until 1800 sunday,by 2100 the region has DP of -3c and 850s of -5c

so any PPN still around will start turning to sleet/snow

Taken from the GFS 12z

It's only out to 6h and it's rain. Do you mean ppn rate?

Lets face it folks, this event is gonna be a mostly rain event except if you're on higher ground, we should look forward to the midweek breakdown , that may deliver, if not then let's welcome spring , because to be honest i need some sun and warmth nowclapping.gif

NAE does look good for the whole region on the accumulated ppn charts with 18mm near here by Monday morning. The other charts haven't finished coming out yet.

How much of it will be snow though!
