TBH i think 300m is the holy grail, not saying that anywhere below wont get brief accus and not saying you will definately get a dumping over 300m, however i suspect only places far east in the region at 300m have a chance of disruptive snowfall.

Flash the best place anywhere in this region for snowfall, ive seen pictures of lying snow at 10pm when everywhere else is 7c before.

i think this is fast turning into a non event for these parts,the NAE is funny,the far east of the region might get a thin covering but west of manc forget it as far as lying snows concerned.

Most of the rest of the country look decent though with lying snow pretty widespread.

Yes people it was always going to be rain to start with. The colder air won't dig in until very later on this afternoon. In fact the colder air is beginning to settle in the Far North of England and Pennines areas.

These are the kind of places best setup for later , places west of manchester id be shocked if you even got sleet to be honest.
