Very little coming down here at present but it is still snow.

Holding on to the right side of marginality by the skin of our teeth I suspect.

Snow here. A few cm's.

Generally snow level is 1000 feet around the Peak District. A good covering over 1400 feet

TBH i think 300m is the holy grail, not saying that anywhere below wont get brief accus and not saying you will definately get a dumping over 300m, however i suspect only places far east in the region at 300m have a chance of disruptive snowfall.

Flash the best place anywhere in this region for snowfall, ive seen pictures of lying snow at 10pm when everywhere else is 7c before.

Yes people it was always going to be rain to start with. The colder air won't dig in until very later on this afternoon. In fact the colder air is beginning to settle in the Far North of England and Pennines areas.

P.S - Still gonna be crap lol!

jeez some very conflicting reports at the moment, its raining in saddleworth but snowing in littleborough.

These are the kind of places best setup for later , places west of manchester id be shocked if you even got sleet to be honest.

Lancashire is west of Manchester, I don't see your point.
