Absolutely 100% better chance than liverpool, dont expect a spectacular though, could be a brief flight delay, unlikely though.

.

Not flying though - I go to watch the planes on the top of the car park level 13 I am into my aircraft and stuff especially watching the Emirates A380 take off I am sure you have seen it on final approach from your location pretty impressive.

stopped snowing here now so thats it for tonight I guess. ppn on rain today radar is fizzling out over the north west. Why do always the snow comes east side of the Pennines not this side? I do not know.

The radar has to be wrong.

The front is still pivoting in our direction surely it will cross us before it pulls away.

If it doesn't fizzle out too much it looks like some of it will hit us in the early hours. Not sure if that's worth staying up for.

In the NW England regional threads:

Light snow = 2-3 flakes

Moderate snow = flurry

Heavy snow = light snow

Whiteout = moderate snow.

Drizzle/snizzle here, PPN all gone just when conditions are the right side of marginal.

Yeah, 12 hours of rain then as soon as conditions are right the precipitation buggers off.

With regards to Wednesday, I don't think it will match the breakdown of three Friday's ago, which brought chaos to the motorway network but you never know. That was one of the best cold to mild breakdowns I can remember even if it did quick melt inside 36 hours.

Today as been absolutely wretched for my little part of the world. Hell I've not seen a solitary snizzle flake since 11:45 this morning lol. Oh well I've had a combined foot of total snowfall so far this winter. Not too shabby

Lets hope the wind direction stays the same for the next couple of days then.

We finally got a dusting here this evening and far from the 'snowmageddon' the Beeb and newspapers were making it out to be. South of the Midlands looks to be having the best out of this.
