Stanstead have just closed a runway for snow clearance

How are they going to clear the snow, put some hairdryers on it?

There's barely a cm out there!

No snow here just wet is there any chance of it coming here many thanks catford south london

doubt it too marginal for London me thinks...further north into Essex/Herts and elevation...further east...perfect for few hours....otherwise cannot seeing it being more than rain/sleet/squid mix to be honest...unless your on Biggin hill

Well certainly wasn't expecting that, last time i looked we has heavy sleet, no settling. Now we have 1cm over everything, still coming down heavy but only small flakes. How long will it continue to do so though?

Get yourself over to Epping!

Horizontal snow and its settled everywhere!

Unless your in 2 places at once of course!

I love how members can assume your weather conditions 40 miles away!!

Why would we lie?

Mate. I was responding to a poster who lives no more than 5 miles away from me in Nw London. I was out in my car at the time in that very area, and can assure you that whilst it was snowing, it was nowhere near the blizzard and whiteout that he was reporting.

Im all for a bit of enthusiasm for weather events, but lets be a bit sensible when reporting conditions eh ?
