You should! Ask them to check your line profile. I had an issue with mine a few years back and it turned out that it was fixed to 1mb when it should have been variable. Once they switched it I ended up with 8mb!

Thanks apparently its due to a old BT junction box before the main socket should have been removed about 6 years ago by sky, when they finally decided to test the line I was having over 500 faults a minute being recorded, hence I am waiting for an engineer which they are sending "free of charge" that's something I never heard sky say before.

Better get back on track still snowing and temperature fluctuating between +0.1 and 0.2 in snowy Dartford.

I so need to move up the hill. Carol Kirkwood said that there is 13cm of snow in parts of High Wycombe. We have about 3cm here...

Snowing lightly still

Judging by train ride in to work my location has done fairly well. About 6-7cm in rear garden.

Possibly was close enough both to decent ppn and temp/DP profile was favourable..

The non grit side roads as ever are terrible!

The main roads are ok but have snow build up to the side!

Around 11cm here now, apparently Loughton where my other half works only have around 6cm!

Went to bed after MOTD2 last night and we had a bit of wet snow on cars and roofs and that was it in petts Wood/Locksbottom borders.Woke up at 7 this morning and it was snowing and we have current depth of 3.5cms and as at 8.40am it is still snowing very lightly.Be interesting what Biggin Hill/Knockholt way have as i would expect with the elevation they will have double what i have got.Make the most of it though as think it will be pretty much gone by tomorrow!!

Looks like some done very well then. Here in Southend.....pish. A cm or so of slush. Missed the boat again. A frustrating winter for this part of Essex.

Very localised distribution of snowfall! Bexleyheath has a slushy covering side roads a bit dicey but main roads OK. The A2 at Dartford Heath was quite snowy with the hard shoulder covered. Snowing all the way to the M25. Down at Crossways nothing! Literally nothing, no lying or falling snow. Colleague living in South Woodford reports lots of snow and can't get into work! All very bizzare.

Around 4am the snow was pretty heavy and settled everywhere including pavements and roads. This morning that's all cleared and it's thawed a bit on the cars but the current falling snow has recovered those patches on the cars. The roads remain wet.

I know it's annoyingly marginal again but not many winters do we get some falling and laying snow in Dec, Jan and Feb. A few years ago this would have been HUGE. I remember people proudly taking photos of their 1-2cm's a settled snow. How times change! (for the better!)

Well and interesting 12 hours or so, absolute dross up until 10.30 last night, then snow so heavy you could see it laying on puddles, followed by an overnight thaw before more heavy snow this morning between 6 and 7am, never had more than 1.5cm but it was fun. Bit snizzly now looks like it will melt quite quickly this morning unless the Thames can come up with some more. smile.png
