Looking decidedly sleety now here. Snow melting quickly on the roof tops, although whether that's due to poor insulation in the business premises, I'm not sure.

Should have measured last night really but thats the chance you take when you have not had 3-4 days of hard frosts before a snow event, the ground underneath is simply too warm and the melting is quicker than the accumulation.

Stick me down for 0.5cm Tom, very poor effort in a strange old winter really!

Not long for Spring now! clapping.gifclapping.gif

Seems to be brightening up here in Tonbridge with the snow looking rather sleety and almost stopped anyway. Snow that was on the ground is melting as you would expect, us being in the bottom of the medway valley

2cm tops Tom.

Looking at the 06z don't think a Thames Snow Streamer will set up today unfortunately, despite ENE wind 500mb cold pooling looks rather weak and flat. Plus GFS and the ever optimistic NAE lighten the precip and turning it back to sleet/rain for all this afternoon as temps recover.

Hope you win it and I go out to the eventual winner good.gif
