I never see more than three at any one time... I call shenanigans!!!!

Suddenly thought that might cause some nightmares, so have tempered it somewhat but steady that white stuff has strange powers!

It's probably being paid by the tax payers.

So, so sad that plebs like that feel the need to come in here and boast about how many inches they have. I can only assume he has accidently found the wrong website for things like that whistling.gifblush.png

Because everybody in the north east are lazy, council house owning wasters ??? What rubbish !!! Is it only the people in the south east who pay tax ???

Well I've just came back from skiing in France and was suprised to find a good couple of inches here. After looking at the models (sad whilst on holiday I know) I thought that maybe it would be just the south east that saw any of the white stuff.

It does seem to be your turn now though with a steady stream of showers heading for Kent. What are peoples depths and has anyone any photos ?

Then again if you lot get more than a dusting tonight and tomorrow you will probably all grind to a halt and start phoning work on monday morning saying you can't get the car off the drive good.gif (Only joking but everybody can have a prejudice about people from a certain region but I suppose its always the case that you don't see/hear the silent majority)

We have 1 mighty cm here at sea level IMBY. I imagine St Margarets Bay (100m asl and furthest SE) will be the sweet spot. Upper air 850s are staying low so it could be a snowy day in east Kent with altitude and proximity to the south foreland being key variables affecting snow depth - maybe Langdon Bay/ St Margarets will get another 3 cms today?? Snowing moderately but fine individual crystals. Air +0.9 dp-2.0. Good luck to all

Here in Reigate it's as dry as a de-humidified bone. Cold, grey, wind still nagging ('will you ever give it a rest?').

Finding it hard to feel or say anything positive about this type of weather!

AS, just went outside to shoo the enterprising squirrel off our bird feeder and there is a tiny amount of snow falling - so that is positive...

Thanks GP, you are right - I just saw a flake! I am off out in about half an hour so hopefully will not have to dig myself an escape route!

Garden pea sized flakes here in varying intensitys but mostly light and falling so slowly and quite sparsely but seems to be getting pepping up a little now ! but only a little
