Is this the chive height competition? if so, I'm in! 2cm and rising.....

AS

The ones with the serrated edges, look its a snow depth cup, not an herbaceous plant lesson!

Cheers,

Tom

Some pics courtesy of my Dad in Densole at about 500ft asl very early this morning: edit - this is the main Folkestone to Canterbury road (the A260) It was cleared mid morning by snow ploughs but shut mid afternoon due to more drifting!

My match was a friendly Tom, does the new list say I'm entering the cup in round 4? Happy to do so but may be cheating on my part just a little tease.gif

Up for another friendly though smile.png

Yes, your prompt and efficient measuring, has earned you a bye into the Cup proper, well done.

Cheers,

Tom.

Well, chives are 10cm here. Ahem. (Should I have unwrapped them first?).

Those are fabulous Lottie - you can feel the cold, the stillness and imagine yourself as a pioneer in an untouched world. Thanks.

But we could do herbs and spices. Or perhaps lessons on how to defend yourself against someone armed with a bunch of chives.

If you're not a Monty Python fan, I'll get my coat!

Great pics - they do add yet another reflection/dimension to the amazing weather (for at least some) in the last day or sosmile.png

Perhaps the winner should be the contestant who can make the golden word "Birmingham" from his four letters.

Great pictures, Lottie. Bet it was really quiet with all that snow, eerie. My favourite bit of the snow process, going out into the woods after a big fall.

Radar looks like nowt for the SE corner at the moment, but some nice showers coming in off the North Sea for East Anglia, landing Yarmouth way and heading almost due south.

Btw, you lot gloating about your progress towards the conclusion of the Snow Depth Cup, should temper your boasting.

Awaiting in next seasons European Champions Snow Depth Cup are the likes of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Cortina D'Ampezzo and Vals Thorens.

Leigh-on-Sea v. Lillehammer, I must see! (Paul Sherman you're dead and literally buried).
