Starting to stick on bins and cars in Shrewsbury town centre, we had rain most of night until an hour ago but were on edge of heavier band now. Shall see what's what in the morning!

The front is advancing faster than predicted so whilst we may get more snow earlier now could this mean warmer temperatures advancing from the south and therefore a greater chance of rain later. Anyone on here got any thoughts on this? Heavy snow outside now.

Snowing very heavily now in Solihull.

Roads are almost covered. Grass, Cars, Roofs are all white.

Temperature now down to 0.5C and continuing to fall.

This is the start my friends.

This is a 70's situation if ever I saw one.
