Rotating mixture of sleet and very wet snow here for the past hour or two, certainly remaining as snow for longer periods now- everything very wet though.

A great bonus for the end of March, nevertheless.

So hard to tell but thought it was starting to look sleety as it was coming down. Great event so far though.

In fact can't tell if it's fine snow or rain.

GFS 00z has slightly downgraded snow accumulations, although still a fair bit expected. Worryingly it shows the snow turning to sleet for virtually all of us though this afternoon before turning back to snow this evening. It then looks like fun and games though tonight into tomorrow.

NAE is pretty much as yesterday, with some huge accumulations showing for the Peak District.

Snow still falling here but not a massive amount accumulated, i'd reckon about 3cm. I can hear dripping water too, which echoes the marginality of the situation with temperatures here currently 0.5c.

Snowing again but very wet- 1-2cm but already signs of melting on the paths. Saturday night's snow lasted better than this is doing so far. Will the temp actually fall below freezing during today/tonight's projected snow?

not sure where all today's snow is going to come from, big dry slot to the east and south of here, and the heavyish stuff to the west doesn't seem to be moving. unless its going to pivot

Everywhere 20 miles to our West has a dusting at minimum, with a good covering in and around the villages near Nottingham- sleet turned into snow here around 3am and has continued to fall ever since, however no settling on any surfaces as yet. What a difference a few miles can make. :)

Light fine snow here also, not sure of depth yet due to amount of drifting, but at a guess about 5cms on average.

Morning all :) 7.5 cm total on my garage roof here in West Malvern, but it's wet underneath, temp is at 0.3oC, dewpoint -0.5oC. Looks very picturesque.

I think it's a question of when the front pivots and we get the next lot of PPN feeding in along the frontal boundary.
