Are you on a death wish... rofl.gif

Conditions are terrible up here, most local roads and lanes are blocked. For safety reasons i would stop at home.

As for here in North West Leicestershire. We have a good reasonable covering on grass and side streets but all roads running just about fine. Last 30-45mins it has stopped altogether. Not sure we're going to see too much more until tonight.

Lovely scenes here in Solihull, everything covered with a few cms of the white stuff. The roads are a slushy nightmare though.

Judging by the radar it looks like we had snow up until about 05:30 in the morning.

Not too bothered about what happens/doesn't happen over the next few hours, tonight and tomorrow morning is of much more interest personally.

Yep Bish,

Local golf course reports 7cms and is closed!!!

As you say main roads are Ok, but side roads are affected by wet slushiness.

Looks let its finished now for the day, but this evening could look interesting.

Nothing here but latest NAE shows snow from about 6pm for us!

The latest NAE is wrong at +3 seems to think it should be belting it down here right now. I'm going to stick with gfs as it showed the precip being further north in line with the radar before returning later

NAE looks totally wrong. What it shows for 9am right now is way out. GFS looks much more on the money.

Yep. GFS much more accurate.

Personally not having much snow isn't a huge loss at this stage what has fell is wet slushy snow. When it returns later 850s shud be much more favourable. The conversion rate mm -> CMS should be better aswell.

About 2" of snow at work, east midlands airport. So more than back home in Leicestershire. Was still nice to see all that snow falling even if it didn't accumulate to much. Looking forward to this evening.
