Beautiful day here. Had a frost to start this morning. But been pretty much wall to wall sunshine all day. Makes you feel do much better having sun and some warmth on your skin. Cold and snow can do one now until November..... Lets hope we get a proper BBQ summer

Nothing like a relaxing evening watching storm chasers in America. Looks like an active few days ahead on the plains

GFS is hinting of a return to very temps around the end of April. I will not be at all surprised as the very cold air is constantly close by help.gifcold.gif

My mate, who went fishing very early this morning, said his car temperature was showing -5C first thing. cold.gif Pretty impressive for April, right by the coast.

Pretty chilly here now as well, about 3C.

Got to -6 at 06:10 this morning. took less than 2 hours to get above freezing

Not before it comes up with this for the 19th April, think more cold would be hard to bear after 20c. Of course both deep into FI, so neither that likely at this stage but worth keeping an eye on.smile.png

TBH it looks like the later you leave it the better, the patterns all show some (not profound) improvement, and that is dodgy at best.

Finally completed move to Chislehurst around 4 this afternoon, after a hectic round of dumping household rubbish and moving of bulk items, with the help of a few of my sons' friends. What a great day to move too, the weather was smiling on us and no threat of dragging wet, muddy feet onto newly laid carpet. The rooms are huge to account for wheelchair access for my son, as are hallway and landings, even to a greater extent now, as the light coloured carpet opens up the rooms even further!

I've come back to Anerley now for a few days, to tie up a few loose ends, regarding this tenancy but I'm so relieved to see my son/daughter in such a lovely property after having such a tough time during their lifes so far.

Regards,

Tom.

Wonderful news Tom, really happy for you and your family x

Beautiful day here (spoilt by a trip to Costco). The sun is wonderful, makes most things better. Night night all xxx ps. Bit of a blip this week, but reckon Spring is just round the corner :-) x

nao.mrf.gif

assuming the 14 day charts are correct the jet should start to head further north

that should warm it up a bit but whether dry is another story

Thanks for those kind words scrat and Reefseeker. Yes its really been a tough time for my two and its about time they had something good happen in their lives.

Yes, the weather has been beautiful and an ideal day for a move.

Scrat, although snow depths attained in Chislehurst are generally more than in Anerley,I think I'm going to struggle to get anywhere near yours in Biggin Hill!

Tom.

Please, God, NO!

All the fruit blossom and bees will come out and then it all gets zapped by frost and cold like last year. I've nearly run out of all the stuff I froze in 2011 in the freezer.
