Good afternoon folks.

John, just wanted to thank you for your continued great analysis that you post overnight. It's the first thing I look forward to in the morning.

Tom, so pleased the move went smoothly and it sounds like the extra room is a godsend for you all. I'm so pleased you have what you need.

Can't wait for the warm up that is predicted in the not too distant future.

Sun trying to break through the high cloud here with temp of 13.5c. Not bad at all.

thanks guys for trying to answer. I ,know its impossible to predict this far out but just wanted a rough guide so thats great. TBH I kind of expected April showers etc being at the time of year we are but its good to know it wont be 90mph gales, with snow and hail lol.....wasnt too sure after this long spell of cold....

There is still some snow to be seen on the side of the southbound A10 between Royston and Buntingford. melting slowly but still hanging on in there, Amazing that it's been there for over 16 days of any winter, let alone 8 days into April!!!!

Any other snow still to be seen in the region?

I saw some snow the other day, but I can't remember where it was. May have been on the A10 somewhere, but not as far up as Buntingford.

I suppose it goes to show that sunshine in itself isn't the best thing for clearing thick snow - as is obvious when seeing the top of high equatorial mountains. Rain and warmth are more efficient. :)

Kind Regards,

Tom.

Better late than never I would like to add my congratulations on your move Tom and wish you and your family every happiness in your new home. good.gif

Breezy here again today but 9.4c is a small step in the right direction. Given the overall 'dryness' of recent weeks for some of us Im not overly disheartened by the prospect of rain this week either.

Just spent several happy hours in the garden and we do need the rain. All of the plants need a good drink.

Beautiful sunshine and felt really warm out there. Temp says 8c but feels much warmer.

Sun is almost there now and if I can get away early, I might just get a top down drive home without freezing my bits off!

I just love open top motoring, the smells, the sounds, the warmth/cold etc - you get so much more out of a drive when you get all the senses working!
