Please, God, NO!

All the fruit blossom and bees will come out and then it all gets zapped by frost and cold like last year. I've nearly run out of all the stuff I froze in 2011 in the freezer.

I wouldn't worry too much GFS being GFS is very unlikely to be right at this range and just two runs later has gone back to a warm almost summer like end to its 0z run this morning showing temps of 20c again, just need to get something into a reliable time frame but I'm hopeful it will warm up for the 2nd half of the month.smile.png

Just for fun here is the 372 hr chart this morning, probably be gone again by 6zwhistling.gif

Meanwhile looking like a wet week to come!

Morning all on a day of complete contrast to yesterday!

GFS still has the trend towards a slow return to seasonal temperatures and conditions. Interesting to note the convection gets going on Friday, but not enough currently to get carried away about!

Mornin each. Well, for the last two days its been lovely sunny and spring like. However.....there has been a distinct nip in the air. In fact it's been downright chilly. But thank goodness the snow has gone. Now hope it stays away till the end of the year.

Hope you all had a good weekend. I've been terribly busy writing my novella that seems to be growing in popularity on my blog. And I've been up to my eyes in blog-hops. :D J K Rowling.....eat yer heart out. Ha ha ha ha!!!

Have a good day everyone and take care. *mwah* :)

Morning all. :)

Bright / very hazy sun here, but although still chilly, it feels way better than last week.

I'm liking the hints of something much warmer at the end of the weekend too.cool.png

Here you are, Coast and anyone else who is baffled by the term 'blog hop'.

It's can be good fun but sometimes gets a bit tedious. :)

Sorry K, I'm not up with all this social media type stuff. I still think a blog is the smallest room in the house.

Morning all

Having sat on the M25 for nearly 2 hours this morning (in the car, in case anyone thought I was just sitting there in some sort of deranged leisure activity) it has dawned on me that I am no longer in West Wales. This feeling is only reinforced by being in the blinkin' office with its uplifting view of sunkissed beaches, cliffs, rolling sea and dolphins the car park.

Ah well, time to check the calendar for the next time off!

Looks like an unsettled week to come but then just the hint of something warmer at the weekend?

Morning all,

Not too bad of a start to the day here, with the sun trying to break through. Another airfrost this morning with the temperature dipping just below freezing, and is currently at 6.8C.

A good signal for HP to build over the continent over during the latter half of the week, with a deep-ish low in the Atlantic helping to draw up south-westerly/southerly winds by the weekend. Could be a much warmer weekend than we've been used to for the past month or two, at the moment Sunday looks like a nice day going off the model output.

In the meanwhile some rain looks quite likely during the week, must of been a while since it last rained here!

Good morning everyone,

Hazy sunshine and feeling cool.

Tom, welcome back to Bromley. I'm so glad that the move went well and the weather was good to you.

The house sounds great, and we are near neighbors!

And you have 30m extra elevation to me! lol

I wish you and your children much happiness

Hi All

I need some help if you can. Im off to Centre Parc on the 15th for a week in Sherwood forest. My knowledge of the models is very limited and i need some help from the people more in the know. To me it looks like the ECM and GFS have this low in different places. The ECM looks like it would be ideal for me but again, im not too sure if im reading this right.

I've just looked at them and think they're both showing a good deal of usable / good weather next week, for southern Britain (inc Notts). :)

A bit if drizzle/light rain late on the first day, but otherwise quite bright?

Tbh Coast, I just looked at the T850 / SLP charts, but they look pretty decent to me. Doesn't mean guaranteed no rain obviously, but can't see a washout and way better temperatures than recently. smile.png

GFS charts I posted are only a guide at this point, but I'd be fairly confident there won't be any snow on those dates. Mind you.....

Sun is trying it's hardest here, it's certainly making me squint in the office.

I've also had my own hunch for a while that we'd get a reasonable spell after about the 15th. Still hunches can be shot down in flames by reality.ph34r.png
