If they let me out, I might not want to come back if this is going to be how Summers are from now on! I have a good friend who emigrated to Orlando 10 years ago, he doesn't even want to come back just for a visit.

Blimey, just caught up with the posts of yesterday evening and last night... whatever you lot were on, can I have some next time?  

 

Still horrible and miserable out there, it really is like Autumn, but with a bit of humidity thrown in.  At least it's not raining...yet!

Seriously though....If the summers carry on like this, many will consider emigrating. I think its worse coming off the end of cold winters year after year.

 

I suppose the only crumb of comfort is that if 2006 is considered to be the last decent summer, we are getting closer to ten years of naff summers. Surely it will just be a phase, like the no snow period in the 90's (when we seem to have snow every year now)

 

I'm a runner and its the windy weather I can't stand. Always feking windy!!

Hope 28th june is at least dry for daughters prom her transport is open top,and the after prom party is in a field.

Might have to search for some glam wellies

I am off to the med in july so it can hog the warm weather then!

Cloudy and windy here. Is summer now reverting to type, of the last few years anyway? I sincerely hope not, but I'm concerned. These patterns can really easily hold for 6 weeks and more and bingo, it's August, with its rapidly diminishing daylight.

It's 14C, I'd class that as pretty Autumnal. Absolute crap. So lucky to be buying a flat in Spain to escape this awful weather!
