My grandfather has been reincarnated as a small castle in Bavaria so I am a bit tied up at the moment BB (and at this rate will be more tied up very soon)

So was I earlier....but I managed to wriggle free in the end Posted Image

Blimey what you lot been on today? Still damp dull and depressing in dreary dirty Dartford, nothing alters.

Not telling....... but it certainly wasn't all of the above in MK - not dreary or depressing and definitely not dull Posted Image

Has anyone seen those hurricane parties they hold in The States when one is about to blow through ?? Well I guess this is the closest we get to holding a South East/East Anglia party as an Atlantic storm blows into our region. Its cats and dogs out there tonight folks.

In that case I suggest a game of Twister

I often refer to Dartford as dirty Dartford and sometimes I get into trouble for using this term, however the term Dirty Dartford is ancient and come from a poem which is steeped in history and is factually correct.

Dirty Dartford,

Dirty people,

Bury there dead

Above the steeple.

Being the church is around a 1000 years old and the burial ground (now closed) is still above its steeple then the poem is true, however no ones know how old it is.

What a terrible night, can't do anything right, just dropped chocolate down my new shirt, even in this cold it melted and made a right old mess, this was promptly followed by me knocking a tin of biscuits all over the floor and of course they broke and made another mess, she indoors at this stage sent me to bed early as I was a danger to everyone, however I got the last laugh as she tripped over the Hoover that she carelessly left in the middle of floor whilst she discussed my future life expectancy, which at this precise minute I don't think I will see the 9 o'clock news.

Just to keep it slightly on topic, the drizzle is getting heavier.

Goodness me it's miserable out there. Shades of 2012, just hope this doesn't turn into another summer to sit alongside 2007,08,09,10, 11 and 12

Hello from the west. The trees are going for it in the park here. Didnt have to fill the bird water due to the rain. Keep forgetting it is June!!

Good evening all. Haven't been on here much lately. I'm either enjoying the fine weather or too peed off to report on the poor weather conditions. But I can report some positives here tonight..... It's very mild and the wind has really died down.... Not bad for June Huh? On the downside, it pouring down... So much for a nice BBQ and relax in the garden! At least our parched ground is getting some water hehehe.... Enjoy your evening guys :-)

I think we should let the wider audience vote on it but I'm happy to go along with renaming the official Met summer months as:

Juneuary

Octuly

Nogust

2010 wasn't too bad - at least for the SE.

So, lets rename the whole metereological year then, that's how bored I am. Oh come on give me a break, I found some decent tunes earlier to share in the lounge.
