It might be worth looking back a year or so ago when we tried to understand why we weren't getting the storms we thought we should have:

I think we should all meet up and travel to France (or Germany) for a spot of chasing. Because we aren't going to be doing much here.

Ok......I hope we don't get any T Storms because I don't like them.....they are awful, loud scary things. Don't come to EA or Ipswich, Thor. Stay away. (Ill try anything)

Sounds good to me Posted Image

Maybe we should wait for Mr S to come back from the USA and show us how it's done

It went very dark here an hour ago to the point I needed the lights on in my treatment room to see what I was doing - had a few spots of rain but not enough to cool things down !

At least we don't have to worry about thunderstorms (or lack of) for a week or so, as GFS says there aren't any coming - pity that information wasn't forthcoming for last week, saved us all some heartache Posted Image

It's raining...

It would be something if it would do that here! We've had no weather at all today

Getting rather damp here now as well - typical I'm going out later and I wanted to look especially nice, frizzy hair isn't a good look !

Heavy disappointment here, interspersed with occasional glumness and patchy but variable amounts of let down.

Still, things could be worse. It could be tomorrow and then we would have the longest day of the year with this weather!!!

This'll be three days in a row: three days for which 'frequent lightning', 'tropical deluges' (blah blah blah) have been predicted...Has anyone seen a storm yet - barring those that inched to within 10 miles of the Kent Coast, yesterday...?

Oh well, there it all goes rushing up to the Midlands like the East Coast Express - almost as reliably too......

No, no sign of a storm. Just another grey summers day, not even raining. It's been dark all day, quite strange weather and very humid.

Why can't the Met Office/BBC get their weather forecasts correct? even for 24hrs in advance they have not been accurate 3 days in a row.  When I went to NYC, the report I watched on TV was dead on balls accurate, predicting exact time of arrival of rain, timescale and quatity of precipitation.  Now they are having this meeting to discuss whats up, well they scammed us by calling it global warming, then when that dont fit they scam us with climate change, now they have a meeting to figure whats going! Its called nature.

It's not just the MetO, GH; it's everyone. Anywho, I'll be getting the garden hose out tonight, no matter what!

As I posted earlier today ( http://forum.netweather.tv/topic/77025-south-east-east-anglia-regional-discussion-17th-june-2013-onwards/?p=2719558 ) they admitted yesterday this was a difficult scenario to forecast.

Ah well...I've tried everything. Hanging my Mjölnir round my neck, playing Wagner, dancing around stone circles (fully clothed) I can't do anymore. :(

I think I'll try watering the lawn. Perhaps that'll help?
