Yep estofex has actually got it right for this part of the world unlike those dismissing it last night by the hope casters. I never saw much in today. Tomorrow evening is certainly the next chance but I'm going for most of the action over the continent with anything just scraping the se. Maybe a little tomorrow morning too but I don't expect too much either.

.

How do you know that?

Theses rainfall rates in a cell would be well capable of producing sferics. And the majority of red is surrounded by nothing and none have the structure of a cell. Anyhow possible storm forming south west of Paris?

.

REAL ANSWER: Theses rainfall rates in a cell would be well capable of producing sferics. And the majority of red is surrounded by no lighter rainfall and none have the structure of a cell. Anyhow possible storm forming south west of Paris?

What's moving up through France atm looks due course to head straight for south coast an looks like its intensifying

Estofex updated there forecast this evening and slapped a huge Level 2 over much of C France. This could be a prime MCS breeding environment, which if travels N not NE could have our names on it. As ever they are an erratic breed so only time will tell. Few sunset pics earlier, showing more interesting cloud pouring in from the SouthLol, not sure why the pics are upside down...bugger!!

Estofex were on the mark for today and although Skywarn thought about it they refrained from putting up any warnings. Will be interesting to see what Estofex make of tomorrow.
