Woo hoo nice thunderstorm over Wrexham atm. Only saw one flash of lightning but heard about 12 good rumbles of thunder, including one that shook the windows lol. Finally I've got a storm, shame I didn't see more lightning but can't have it all lol

Took a nice shot of a double rainbow at the beginning of the storm :-)

Those storms coming out of Runcorn/Wrexham seem to be heading my way. Fingers crossed they don't skirt west of me.

Nothing in Morley

That cell went on to affect East Leeds - but I'm not there right now.

Just heard a low and very distant rumble of thunder, I think from the cell to my SW. Can't see much of it yet though!

Also worth noting that the Met's rainfall projections show very heavy rain/showers tonight, particularly in West Yorkshire. One to watch.

I was right under the path here (Great Sankey, Warrington).

The 'sound and light' show has just finished here ..... for the time being !

I was just about to say the cell had moved away when a blinding flash appeared closely followed by a huge bang. That must have been very close!

We have a storm right above us 20 mins now. Crazy rain and fire work like thunder. It's so lovely.
