Storms seem to be moving over the same places as a few weeks back.

Damn, thought I could here a rumble or two through the open window, but ti sounds like they are routing approach aircraft into Gatwick to the East over me and it was an EasyJet 737 not thunder! Posted Image

Tut Coast, you need to go on an aircraft recognition course  --  Easyjet fly Airbus planes Ryanair are the 737'sPosted Image

Just starting to cloud over here after a glorious start to the morning.  currently 23.4C

No they don't,  Norfolk had very little last time, all around us yes, but whereas others had 25mm+, I had 4mm of rain and not a single rumble of thunder.  This time there looks a beefy shower heading my way, no spherics yet by the look of it though

perhaps that's why storms have been in short supply, they weigh over 10kg and Ryanair will not allow them on as hand baggage

One rumble of thunder earlier, despite it looking very promising. Pretty skies though :)

What a difference a day makes. Grey skies here, low cloud, but dry and light winds. Have a temp of 19C currently.

Black in Southwark, heard some rumbles but didnt see the flashes due to the low cloud. Seems to be brightning up from the south now....Is any expected later today?

Woke to distant rumbles around half seven which came to nothing (looking at radar it passed to my north and south)

Another storm moved past just now, probably 30 seconds of rain and a dozen rumbles and gone!

Is this the cold front moving through earlier than expected?

Apart from a couple of distant rumbles here at work about 30 minutes ago, there has been nothing since.  Why oh why can't it be this time last week when I had annual leave and would have been at home enjoying the storms over there.  Bloody sods law!
