Just back in from dropping off a lappy charger to a friend and visiting the folks and can confirm it is very wet and cold out, bit of breeze too so no chance of putting the frost cover on the car for the morning so just hope it is not going to be needed.

Coming to you live from the roof, hunting snow at a dizzying 120m above sea level.  It's a bit slippery under foot, especially in the crampons which aren't biting that well on the Victorian slightly unstable slates, been raining but if I just unclip the rope, put down the ice axe and reach high enough I think I might just be able to touch, before it melts, a solitary, worth stretching for, snowflaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.................

Talking of hunting snow it was only in the last 20 minutes that I realised the street lamp close to me is not working, it has picked a bad time to pack up, may have to make an emergency call to the council to have it repaired ASAP!

Same here, but seems to be turning to a more wintery mix, not expecting much more to be honest, just sleet
