Just had a 5 minute heavy hail shower turned to sleet before some wet snowflakes. Interesting 2.7c.

looking fairly dry which was expected

the strat is not the be all for us

 

we just need europe to cool down enough and tap into an easterly

 

you may be right but i do see things different at present

 

 

heres moscows chart

 

 

 

 

even at average that is very cold

 

 

also note this is totally different to yesterday and the charts will jump around all over the place

 

do not be surprised to see a cold set of charts tomorrow

the cooler air stays with us for the whole run

 

maybe nothing in the snow sense but pretty cold here

 

although fi is probably around 5 days time

Didn't realise but I see there's rain due tonight. Could triton wintery according to BBC under London text forecast.

Heathrow currently reporting temp of 4c and dew of 3c. Perhaps sleet for some on higher ground?

Some Norwegians I know posted last night some snow pictures back there. Ahh so nice lol, they were playing out in it and that's people who grew up with plenty of it.

Makes me want to go back now.

i got soaked twice today JP. Got caught in the squall at lunch, then skipping off work early I got caught again. But not so bad that time....😞 all the same it was most unpleasant though. Glad to be home dry and warm 😊

Yeah and alot of moaning on this, must be lack of ppn but then at least nice frost and cold air still, eventually cold builds up in the ground.. can only be good for future propects.. if Atlantic don't take over the stage! which im not expecting it to. Sleet and snow on the hills later and overnight for these zones, think snow settling on downs for example if hvy

It "might" be snowing here, it's really quite hard to tell because it's incredibly light. But whatever is falling is doing that bouncing all over the place in the wind as it falls thing.
