Had another air frost here last night; the third of the season. Also the coldest night of the season with a minimum of -2.5°C.

It looks as if the pattern is going to reset to zonal by  next weekend, but don't be despondent, we may have a favourable alignment of the jet stream which could give us  something much colder further down the line, especially as Europe is cooling  all the time..

Hard frost overnight, unsure of the low. Still grass frost in the shade. Blue sunny skies currently.

A GFS model has now suggested a possible cold snaps/spell for later this week and next week.

Until the Express run it as a Day After Tomorrow headline there's always a chance.

Once they get a scent of it then it's turn the heating off and roll on spring.

Things could start looking interesting from the 5th of December if tonight's GFS & ECM verify, 10 days though is a mile off. If it's still there in 3 days I will have more confidence of a cold spell of Weather affecting us.

I think it will still be there in 3 days time however the models will go there different ways with different solutions

A temp of 8.3°C here by the way and a pressure of 1036.4 mB and falling away slowly.

Lol @ people in the model thread grasping at major straws because the models are HP dominated right now.

Suits me just fine if it comes with plenty of sunshine.

The cold can wait until next winter, it's just a hindrance! :D
