Temp is now 3.3°C here and dropping fast.

Whilst this may be a quiet spell, it is still interesting to me to see how low temperatures can reach overnight. I reckon for example that I may be in for my second air frost of the season tonight, the first being on the night of 3rd Nov.

Only if you believe the daily express, and if anyone does then they are daft, daft is an understatement actually..

Well? How low did it go Chris? I saw Crosby WS got a low of 1C I think, this morning?

Here we stayed up at 2C which i was very surprised at actually.

Currently 7.6C with bright dazzling sunshine. Cahnce of air frost tonight (again), but maybe not on last nights performance!

Well here it got down to 1.6°C. was expecting to have an air frost last night, but the temperature didn't seem to want to fall very fast. It is falling faster tonight, but still relatively slowly.

Currently 2.9°C

sorry for the late reply.

Just hit exactly freezing point here so would expect about -2c by dawn if not a touch lower.

Not my favorate type of weather but better than the mist and drizzle which a late autumn anti cyclone could give.

Well indeed we have got our second air frost of the season, and by quite some way as well. Temperature is currently -1.7°C with a recent overnight minimum of -1.8°C, making it the coldest night  of the autumn so far.

Now according to the 0700 observations, Crosby met office weather station is the 2nd coldest station in the NW at -2.0°C as Often happens in a slack or north-easterly airflow. Showing -1.8°C here on my station. I am a mile to the south-east of the met office station which is right on the beach.
