Hurray, Mr Spur is back with a cheery Christmas ditty  That reminds me, must get to Millets, last year's waterproofs must have 'shrunk' when they got wet...

 

Talking of rain, the stream that runs through campus was a full river torrent yesterday and today; let's see what it's like by Friday if the rainfall totals end up anything like on Coast's maps. Surprisingly cool day after yesterday's distinctly mild muck.

Hi All,

 

Bit sad but just been looking on Youtube at some of my old kids programs.

 

Bagpus, Wilow in the wisp, Trumpton, Button moon, The Sullivans & the Banana bunch Mmmmmmmmmm

the weather must be bad at the moment 

This could take us a little off topic but.....

 

Ivor the Engine.  The episode with the snow and the rescue of the sheep in the 'top left hand corner of Wales' still gets me going.  I've 'persuaded' all my children to watch Ivor and also Mr Benn and either they enjoyed them or they were humouring me!  I probably don't want to know the truth.

lol I've mentioned that wave a couple of times not for snow potential though. I was thinking it could give us some gusts, which considering the wind already blowing could be around the 40/50 mark inland.

note again 528 dam air almost across us again

 

also watch that trough to our west

 

that could get shifted in later runs

 

the odd shower around but looks mainly dry

 

temps

 

could be quite low

 

 

around 6 degrees north of the area

 

7-8 degrees further south

Well the met are keeping an eye on it, my work place is quite high up.

Hi region aires , I hope everyone is well & just as unorganised as me for Christmas ! I've decided it IS going to snow because I've just ordered my daughter a sledge which lights up ! ! How excited am I lol . It looks soooo cool ,just need the white stuff now as I'm not sure it will have the same effect on my mud bath of a garden ! X

If that's the case I will ask the company I work for to build another 212 storeys on their building

Going by Ian f's latest post, it doesn't get this far east, mostly in the west. Some of west Sussex might get some.
