Happy New Year all. just started to rain heavily here in Newington. Was dry half an hour ago when the kids went out with their sparklers (we went as well Posted Image ),

an explanation... i suppose some of the newer members are wondering "who is MAF" well i've been about a while but for many reasons not posted for quite a long time. having had the chance to get back online recently i have found myself back on the drug that is NW :rolleyes:

i used to work shift and would help the storm chasers with updates and as much info as posssible before the advent of sat comms and wi-fi. i also kept many a nightshift watching the stormchasers via posts and messages and radar watching. on top of that i would contribute to banter. a place which has diminished sadly, but the regional threads seemed to have picked up on and now the banter is, localised, if i can put put that way.

so, in case you were wondering. thats who MAF is :D

was very quiet here in SE18. strange really as its always a loud night normally regardless of weather. can only put it down to the fact that not many people are into midwek celebrations (and the fact theres not much money about)

stopped raining now, but must get out in the daylight and check my temp sensor, as its now showing 12.3 outside :doh:

so unless theres a waif and stray breathing heavily on it, it must have a problem :lol:
