Ironically the cooler fresher air tomorrow will bring temperature's back up to 14-16c for most of us.

Shame this weekend's looking rather poor, we really got lucky last month with the best of the sunshine & warmth all managing to fall on the weekend's.

more of a winter thing that, Atlantic air lifting temps, been ready for Sunday 6th April washout for days now, wish I had put a bet on it

Still looking thoroughly wet for monday! Heavy rain throughout the morning and that first band will clear eastwards come lunchtime,

But then that's when the fun and games may start! There will be a second band a (cold front) that will produce some very heavy squally showers,

Thunder/lightning maybe possible and gusty winds to go with that.Posted Image

Very grey and threatening again, only a little rain so far but looks like more to come. Apart from Tuesday 1st which had a good 7 hours, there's been very little sunshine for about 2 weeks now.

(sorry it's late), but Happy Birthday Bish. Hope you had had a rockin' good Birthday. :)

Very bright start this morning with a lot of blue sky around. Should (hopefully) stay rain-free for the rest of the day. Temperature around a chilly 4.2*C - though should warm up a bit once the day gets going.

Fairly pleasant day overall. A little breezy especially till mid afternoon but nice in the sun which only really hid away late morning and early afternoon. Otherwise a nice day. :)

No where near as cloudy as forecasts expected it to be today. In fact now the cloud is thinning and even more

Blue sky showing up. As a result it's lovely and warm at 15c :D

It was gorgeous here as well, up until about an hour or so ago. But it's suddenly gone more overcast now.

Still, lovely to have some warmth back :)

Near miss on the frost front last night. Down to 1C for a couple of hours this morning.

Just heard the first cuckoo!

Looks like we used up all our sun allocation yesterday, despite high pressure and no wind its back to grey muck for no apparent reason, while the SE is clear. Whats so difficult about getting more than one or two nice days, it seems highs just fill with murk nowadays if they linger more than 48 hrs.
