No shocks Good Friday will feel colder than most of the winter just gone, looks like any hope of a weekend break to Europe for some much needed sunshine would be a waste to  typical!

Howdy Midlander's ... been a while since I last posted in here (am still in the NW). Much enjoyment on your weather front? We've just had the odd bit of rain and sunshine (nothing too exciting) :/

Nothing exciting here, really not expecting any snow now until Feb, writing rest of this winter off, 300m higher may see some

Quite chilly here now. Was outside watching the ISS for the third night in a row. Virutally overhead tonight, and very clear.

Any clouds are keeping away from the sun. Very warm it feels despite being only almost 15c. :) just out up a new hammock/swing for the rest of spring and summer :) you just know it will turn cold next week now lol. Snow guaranteed folks!

Nah Bish, I should be returning back home (Atherstone) during this coming week... then I'm there until the end of May, then The Mother and I shall be moving down South to the outskirts of Taunton (Somerset). :/

Beautiful weather today, a lovely cool northerly wind, dying down by tonight with a widespread frost with temps around 0C and below rurally, so much for the heatwave, only the sun's power gives it a warm feel, in the shade it feels much cooler, typical mid April weather and definately nothing out of the ordinary, getting bored of the hype for typical weather conditions, looks unsettled and cool by sunday.

Who said a heat wave was coming? A frost could be damaging to plants tonight so not good news though thankfully it should stay above here. As for sunday, there is much uncertainty about this weekend. In the meantime, enjoy the sun and go for a countryside walk instead... Edited by Blizzards

Frosty here this morning, even up to 7am grass in shady spots was still white. Looks like the temperature suddenly took a nose dive around 4am this morning — up until then it was still 3.0C. Overnight low of -1.1C at about 6am.

We got down to -0.3c here overnight.

Stunning out there right now, fingers crossed the clouds stay away.
